Upgrades - What we had to have done

Aug 05 - hightop

Many thanks to Dave and Barbara Timbertech over near Sherwood Forest for all of their excellent work and hospitality! New hightop is fantastic!

June 05 - front spoiler (as above )
Added a spoiler to the front to stop the van blowing around.

July / August 04

We've had a complete Poseidon blue respray, got rear seatbelts (big thanks to Euan). We also got a bargainous drive away awning to attach to the van.

May / June 04

Woo Hoo, LPG conversion! - the now runs massively cheaper.

March / April 04

Decided to put it in to the garage for a service and a new timing belt... Apparently it didn't have a timing belt as it was air cooled. ?? (Turned out not to be air-cooled at all - blimey we had a lot to learn!!!)

Next up was the electrics and Leisure battery. Basically the Leisure battery charges from your engine whilst driving. (and can also power your fridge with it driving also). When you park up you can run things like the tap, interior lights and items like stereo and 12v TV etc. We had all this done and the dash lights fixed. (They had apparently stopped working because the guy who had fitted the stereo and pulled the wires with he stereo cables). Also though we needed a new PCB as the thermostat didn't appear to work. It turned out it needed a new sender unit. Had this fitted and all appears to be fine.
