Description:

nice site, very well located. accross the road from the sand dunes and beach. Beadnell bay has a lovely little harbour and a lovely beach. nice pub in the village too. The site itself whilst good, is not quite up to the usual standards of the C&CC standards. toilet block a bit old looking, and only 3 showers in the ladies. (3 fields of campers!). They advertise ice pack freezing service. they rent out icepacks, 1 per icepack deposit and 40p per day. this was great, except they ran out! Hot water was not too plentiful. Pain when you have babies bottles to wash also! It was the busiest time of year for them though, so would probaby be fine at other time sof year. I would go back again though, as location is superb!

Beadnell Bay Camping And Caravanning Club Site

Alex:The location of this site is absolutely excellent, but like all C+C sites, its expensive if you arent a member and the facilities aren't even that great. Staff werent the most helpful or friendly on this occasion - but would still recommend this site just for the location!

Bomber:Was at this site in May, found it basic but was ok, There is a little shop and a chipshop not too far from the site (across the road from the bottom end of the field) and a great pub that is within stagering distance ;o) Facilities are clean and the staff are friendly once you get to talk to them. I will be up there again for Aug Bank Hol but is advised to pre book for that time of year. BTW is a great place to base yourself if diving the Farnes

Alex:You can get trips to see the seals and seabirds of the farne islands from nearby sea houses. Holy Island is a bit of a drive-but also well worth a visit - just keep an eye on the tide times for driving across the causeway!

LadyKaty:Fantastic location, just across the road from the beach. Very short walk into village and short drive from Seahouses. Felt that the staff could try to present a friendly united front (rather than complaining about each other to the customers) and could be less abrupt and more pleasant. Toilets and showers could do with an upgrade and it would be helpful if they werent closed for cleaning for such a long time during the day. However, would definitely recommend this site and plan to return soon.
