Description:

A lovely site set in Hawes in Wensleydale. Has a place fro a few statics, then a couple of fields for campers and tents. Can get quite windy, and the top field is quite open. Facilities are great, with hot running water and a place to washup inside etc. Hawes is a lovely village with a decent amount of pubs. This can easily be walked to from the site, along proper footpaths, so no danger when returning back at night. site also sells milk, eggs and gas, and can freeze icepacks too! local attractions include the the wenslydale creamery where you can sample no end of gorgeous cheeses for free! yum yum yum

Cruz:Great site if windy. Great facilites, great price. Nearby Hawes (5 mins walk) has a few pubs if a little dated and the cheese factory is nearby. Take a baguette and make a sandwich with the free samples :-D
