Description:

A nice basic site next to the Manifold River in the South Peak District. Opposite the Manifold Inn (great food eat in and takeaway), with a village shop (open early til late) and tourist info about 100 yards away next to the start of the Manifold Trail. No EHUs as yet but refurbished loos and showers (2 of each for men and women). We went here with friends and it is quite informal, pitch where you like, and no probm enjoying a few quiet drinks of an evening sat outside the van. Try and pitch by the side of the river, the ground is uneven further up the site. Loved it. ?12 a night (van + 2 adults).

Bank House Park

Bean:We had a lovely time at this site. Really friendly and helpful staff, lovely location and some great walks. It was really child friendly, with a great little stream to paddle in and ducks wandering past the van. No charge for awning either. Highly reccomend. (Saw a chemical diposal thing too)
